Statement by TUV Mid Ulster representative Glenn Moore:
“Last night we had another attack on the small mostly Protestant village of Innishrush in South Londonderry. Once again there were fireworks let off and the chanting of pro-IRA slogans.
“No one deserves to have their lives disrupted in such a fashion.
“It is time that the PSNI upped their game. This is the second example of such an incident in recent days. It is testament to local people’s lack of faith in the forces of law and order that they have taken matters into their hands and blocked a number of routes into the area.
“People shouldn’t have to live like this. It simply isn’t good enough.”
