For change you’ll notice, vote TUV

Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:-

“As we approach Election Day, this is your opportunity to make a change for the better over the next four years. Voting for the same old parties will give you more of the same, which in many instances means more squander, ever increasing rates and councillors who rubber stamp, instead of questioning, officers’ decisions.

“TUV has a different approach: we believe councillors are there to make the decisions, to hold to account and to strive to stem the rise in rates by coming down hard on waste and vanity projects.

“With TUV you also get a principled stand in defence of the unionist cause and on moral issues. We operate by conviction, not expediency. We view institutions not as an employment opportunity for politicians, but ask what purpose they serve. Hence, our clear view that an unreformed Stormont is not worth keeping.

“So, I urge you to give your No. 1 vote on Thursday to your local TUV candidate. If there is no TUV candidate in your area, then, I apologise, but remind you of the opportunity on 23rd May to vote for me in the Euro election, in which we will fight for a clean Brexit.”
