Statement by Jim Allister:-
“IRA bomber Martina Anderson has thrown down a challenge to every Unionist. By audaciously claiming on BBC Spotlight that she represents you, she has put the onus on you to respond at the polls. When I told her an IRA bomber will never represent Unionists, was I right? Your actions or inactions on Thursday will provide the answer.
“For many years Martina Anderson has strutted around the European Parliament spouting her republican propaganda. I am pleased that in this election, on various TV programmes, I have called her out as the terrorist bomber she is. The fact she didn’t like the truth confirms to me this was a job Unionist MEPs should have done long ago.
“If I am elected, then, Ms Anderson’s days of posing unchallenged are over.
“I ensured her terrorist husband (Kavanagh) was removed as a publicly paid SPAD in Stormont, by securing the passing of Ann’s Law. Now, it is her turn to face the spotlight of truth.
“My overriding priority on the national issue will be to haste our overdue Brexit. I will readily work with the Brexit Party in this pursuit. A clean Brexit is required and No Deal is now the only viable route to an ultimate deal, as such will bring Brussels to the table.
“So for an unequivocal and resolute stand on Brexit and against Sinn Fein I invite unionists across the Province to speak through their number one vote the essential message that Out means Out, with further preferences to all other unionists.”
