Statement by TUV Deputy Mayor, Cllr Timothy Gaston:
“It is welcome news that Transport for London have approved funding for a further 195 routemaster buses which are manufactured by Wrightbus.
“I hope this order will be placed as it amounts to £60m for this local firm, and that will be a boost to the local economy.
“Wrightbus is based in the heart of North Antrim, and I hope they will continue to attract such lucrative contracts.”
