Statement by TUV Comber councillor Stephen Cooper:
“At the very time when the Irish Republic’s Government is involving itself as an interloper in the internal affairs of Northern Ireland and itself resisting inquiry into the role of Dublin in the creation and arming of the Provisional IRA this same foreign Government seeks, along with Sinn Fein, to put the British authorities in the dock in Strasburg.
“This speaks volumes of their duplicity and their disingenuous approach.”
