Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:-
“Honours for backing Sir Jeffrey Donaldson’s Sellout Deal are coming thick and fast.
First Mr Seismic became Mr Speaker and now Gregory Campbell gets a CBE – two party officers who swung it for Donaldson! And the deputy leader is rewarded with membership of the Privy Council.
“To those impressed by such baubles these are significant achievements, but to anti-Protocol Unionists of principle they underscore how easily some are pacified.
“And, of course, to most it appears as it is, shameless reward for accepting the Irish Sea border and EU law.
“Happily, there are still unionists whose principles are not for sale!”
