TUV candidates assist Orange appeals for Ukraine

The TUV candidates for Upper Bann, Newry and Armagh and Lagan Valley have all been busy helping appeals for assistance in Ukraine.
Upper Bann candidate Darrin Foster and Newry and Armagh candidate Keith Ratcliffe today called at Carleton Street Orange Hall this morning to leave off items while this afternoon Lagan Valley candidate Lorna Smyth donated items to a similar appeal being run by Hillsborough District.
Commenting Mr Foster said:
“Appeals like these illustrate the positive impact which the Loyal Orders strive to make not just in Northern Ireland but across the world by way of their contribution to charity and generally those in need. The appeals which TUV have contributed to are just a small sample of what is taking place in Orange Halls the length and breadth of Ulster.”
Lorna Smyth added:
“Hillsborough District deserve a massive well done for this initiative. The response of the community has been fanstaic and I have no doubt that the donations will be put to good use.”
