Ron McDowell is a trade unionist who has been working and fighting for jobs in Strangford for over 27 years. He lobbied Westminster and council for a fair deal for workers in Strangford.

A husband to Cathy and a dad to Catherine, Ron is also an advocate for the Union. At a time when statesmanlike politics have been wanton within Unionism Ron has an established media presence where the voice of our electorate gets heard loud and clear.

An elected Councillor, a Christian and Orangeman Ron has strong traditional values and rejects much of today's 'woke' agenda.
