Statement by TUV leader:-
“Sinn Fein and DUP have much to answer after tonight’s BBC Spotlight programme.
“The sham ‘cultural societies’ and the public money channeled through them should be thoroughly investigated not just by the Election Commission, the Stormont authorities and HMRC, but also by the PSNI.
“Once more the obfuscation about who owns and gets the financial benefit in respect of the DUP Ballymena office has been exposed. It is long past time that the DUP came clean on this issue.
“The ducking and diving and avoidance of straightforward answers by Sinn Fein over their “cultural” fronts and by the DUP over North Antrim and Fermanagh only adds to the public scepticism.
“The sooner Stormont has fullproof monitoring and accountability structures the better.
“These apparent scams will understandably add to public disdain about all things emanating from Stormont and its chief beneficiaries.”
