Responding to the leader of Sinn Fein saying she now expects the DUP to go back to fully operating the North/South arrangements of the Belfast Agreement Jim Allister said:
“Sinn Fein are now demanding to set DUP policy, which has echoes of the terms on which devolution was restored last year. This, therefore, will be a test for the DUP. I would urge them to be unequivocal and unapologetic about disrupting the North South arrangements as long as the Protocol continues to trash our East/West links.
“It is the Protocol and its rigorous implementers who are putting the Belfast Agreement in jeopardy.”
