“This week, I met with members of the Ahoghill In Bloom Team and Transport NI along with Alderman Stewart McDonald.
“This informative meeting highlighted issues of safety and traffic movements in The Diamond. There have been a number of incidents that Transport NI will need to consider to see what improvements can be made.
“I am impressed by the Ahoghill In Bloom Team and their long term vision to enhance The Diamond, it is great to see local enthusiasm and a drive to deliver.”
Alderman Stewart McDonald continued:
“This was a positive meeting. I am proud that the Ahoghill In Bloom Team is seeking to make The Diamond better and by addressing safety issues that we can work to getting addressed it will only enhance the appeal longer term.
“Ahoghill is a thriving town, where people are proud of where they come from. The In Bloom Team encapsulate that spirit.
