Statement by Richard Cairns, TUV representative for South Antrim:
“I am deeply concerned that repeated attacks on property and cars has continued unabated in Greystone over the past number of months.
“These attacks have all the hallmarks of a concerted and determined campaign of hate and terror, and it must come to an end. I know the PSNI will be working hard to identify these criminal elements within the town, but there needs to be an increased police presence until that time comes.
“The recent arson attack in Craighill in Ballycraigy is again most alarming, and being in close proximity to the Greystone attacks there needs to be clarification if they are indeed linked.
“Residents subjected to this atrocious criminal behaviour deserve peace to live at home within their community.
“Criminality is not welcome.”
