“O’Neill’s professed concern for the public health message because of events in Downing Street
is farcical.
“Has she forgotten that she was carried to Bobby Storey’s funeral by way of Ministerial car on the very day Stormont debated Covid restrictions? Has she forgotten joining thousands in defying the law which prevented many giving their loved ones the send off they would have liked in order to honour a convicted terrorist?
“I can assure her that the public have not. If anything, the scandal in London – which resulted in a resignation within 24 hours – merely highlights the lack of accountablity in Stormont.”
