Ron McDowell

Married to Cathy and father to Catherine, Ron is North Belfast born and bred.

Ron is active in the Orange Order and has been dealing with parading issues in North Belfast. With his father he built up and promotes the heritage centre within Belfast Orange Hall. He has sought to improve relationships in the area in an outreach programme which would help communities in their search for mutual respect.

A Christian, Ron is actively involved in his church as an officeholder as well as in the children’s work.
