Jim Allister, with Wrightbus the largest employer in North Antrim, has joined a cross-party group of MPs in the Commons to promote the interests of bus builders in the U.K.
Commenting Jim Allister said, “This APPG has a very clear focus of trying to shape government policy so that it facilitates the growth of the business-building sector. Such is critically important to the economic prosperity of North Antrim.
“With the government promising extra funds for clean energy vehicles, it is important that Wrightbus maintains its leadership in the sector. I was pleased to raise in NI Questions the innovative prowess of Wrightbus and to seek government investment in hydrogen infrastructure.”
