Statement by Cllr Stewart McDonald, TUV Bannside:
“I want to take this opportunity to praise the Ahoghill community for taking the initiative in going door to door with a petition seeking enhanced play park facilities in Ahoghill.
“By gaining the support of hundreds of people, the hard work has paid off demonstrating to Mid and East Antrim Borough Council that there was a demand for these facilities in Ahoghill.
“I was delighted to have played a part in supporting those who organised the petition and enjoyed joining them on the doors. I am glad that the new facilities such as the outdoor gym equipment is now in place to be used by all.”
