Maximise the Unionist vote

Statement by TUV West Belfast Assembly candidate Jordan Doran:
“Unionists should aim to maximise the unionist vote in the upcoming assembly election.
“Northern Ireland uses a voting system called ‘Single Transferrable Vote’ in Assembly elections. This is a form of proportional representation. We as Unionist in Northern Ireland should not be ‘hoodwinked’ into thinking you have to vote for one party to prevent splitting the vote. You can not split the vote with the voting system we use here in Northern Ireland as long as Unionists vote down the ballot for all the Unionist candidates in the order of their preference.
“You can maximise the Unionist vote by using your transfers. By voting TUV as your first preference and then numbering other unionists and anti-protocol candidates in order of preference you can ensure that the strongest Unionist team possible is returned to the Assembly.
“This way you will maximise the Unionist vote, remembering the crucial 5th seat is often decided by those who have best managed their transfers.”
