Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:-
“Today’s statement by the Finance minister on the January monitoring round, confirming Stormont has received more COVID money from HM Treasury than it has been able to spend, both gives the lie to Sinn Fein whinging about lack of resources and underscores the huge benefit of being part of the United Kingdom.
“With over £400m of unspent money, both COVID and general funding, left over at the centre, it is all the more brazen that no funding is being found for the victims’ pension.”
