“John Boutcher’s desperate efforts to recover some fig leaf of credibility with innocent victims will not wash. How can he possibly conduct his work into the activity of Stakeknife when we now know that he was sitting down to discuss “legacy” matters with his associates?
“I have a very simple question for Mr Boutcher – is Spike Murray a person of interest to Operation Kenova?
“If Mr Murray is a person of interest to Operation Kenova how can John Boutcher possibly continue in his current role in the investigation? The issue here is very straightforward and simple.”
