Statement by TUV vice chairman Allister Kyle:
“The disgraceful abuse of Poppy sellers in Lurgan has caused widespread outrage across the community. The fact that the footage has emerged on the 35th anniversary of the the IRA’s Enniskillen massacre only adds to the hurt.
“With protests planned for Armistice Day, I would urge the decent people of Northern Ireland to make their feelings clear. That is best done by supporting the Poppy Appeal and displaying your Poppy with pride as we remember those who sacrificed their all for the cause of freedom.”
