East Londonderry TUV candidate highlights prominent former DUP and UUP figures back his campaign

Statement by TUV East Londonderry Westminster candidate Allister Kyle:

“Today I handed in my nomination papers to stand for election to be the next Member of Parliament for East Londonderry.

“My thanks go to all those who signed my nomination papers to put me forward.

“There are some interesting people who trust me as their candidate including William Ross who represented East Londonderry on the green benches for many years, former MLA for East Londonderry Boyd Douglas, Sam Cole, a former DUP mayor and David Barbour, a former UUP mayor. I am also humbled to have prominent figures from the local business and sport community such as Raymond Smyth, current vice chair of Coleraine FC on whose board of directors I am proud to serve.

“Thank you to everyone who has offered me words of encouragement since the announcement of my intentions to stand. It’s going to be a busy month ahead and hopefully now that my canvass material has arrived, I will see many of you on the doorsteps.”
