Statement by Cllr Brian Collins, TUV Braid and Ballymena:
“I am delighted to hear that the long fought for and overdue play park for Drumtara has now been approved.
“TUV have worked continuously on this issue and voiced the frustrations felt by many parents that there was simply a lack of play facilities for children in Drumtara.
“The Council must now get a move on and get the build underway as soon as possible so that children can access the new park at the earliest opportunity.
“Let’s get started.”
