Speaking on handing in his nomination papers in North Antrim in the Assembly election, along with his running mate Cllr Timothy Gaston, TUV leader Jim Allister said:
“The next three months are vital for the future of our nation and province. On 5th May, we can make a difference at Stormont by electing non-rollover TUV MLAs and on 23rd June we can liberate our nation from the stranglehold of EU membership.
“The best antidote to another 5 years of dysfunctional failure and constant pandering to Sinn Fein at Stormont is a substantial rise in the TUV vote. The choice is more of the same shambles and squander that is the proven track record of Sinn Fein/DUP misrule, or meaningful and unyielding opposition to such, which TUV has proven it can deliver.
“It is TUV that shines a light into Stormont’s dark corners, exposing its squander and waste, because TUV goes where vested interest holds others back!
“On the EU, TUV is equally clear – we’d be better off out! To those traditional Ulster Unionist voters disappointed by the pro-EU stance of their party, I say in TUV you will find a party that won’t let you down either in Stormont or on Europe.”
