Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:
“TUV will not be bowled over by promises but will rather judge the actions which follow. Thus far the EU is merely suggesting tinkering with the Protocol. Such meagre action would be totally unacceptable.
“At the end of any process between the U.K. and EU the test will be is Northern Ireland still in a foreign single market for goods and under a foreign customs code ruled by foreign laws which we do not make and cannot change.”
