Speaking from London TUV leader Jim Allister said:
“I’ve been in London for the Coronation and the display of British culture, heritage and identity was great to see. Yet these are the very things which are under attack from the pan-Nationalist agenda and most particularly by the pernicious Protocol.
“When HM the King was crowned, he was crowned King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Yet under the Protocol, Northern Ireland is detached due to the Protocol so that GB is declared to be a foreign country in terms of our trade. We are subject to foreign laws we don’t make and can’t change. It should be a challenge to every Unionist to resolve and determine that we will not rest until Northern Ireland has been restored as a full part of the United Kingdom. Anyone who suggests that we should return to Stormont to implement the Protocol and our detachment from GB are those who would lead us in the wrong direction.
“TUV is very clear that as long as the Protocol exists then our constitutional position is in jeopardy. So, you have an opportunity on 18th May to speak with strength, not weakness by voting TUV – the party who will not say or do something different after the election.”
