East Antrim

Norman Boyd

Norman Boyd is married with a grown up family. He was educated at Belfast High School in East Antrim and worked in banking and credit management for more than three decades. He served as an MLA in the 1998- 2003 NI Assembly and has consistently opposed the Belfast Agreement. Norman has been a member of the Orange Order and Royal Black Institution in Carrickfergus for over 30 years and is passionate about our British heritage, culture and identity.

East Belfast

John Ross

Married to Margaret, John was born and still lives in Belfast. A longstanding serviceman, he enlisted in the Parachute Regiment at 17 and served for the next 23 years, including tours of Northern Ireland. He fought in the Falklands War as a Platoon Sergeant in 3 Para and continues to defend the honour of his regiment.

John gained extensive business experience over the past 25 years as manager of DHL International Express in Northern Ireland. As your TUV MLA, his goal would be to strengthen N Ireland’s position within the United Kingdom and bring prosperity to replace the decades of Stormont failure.

Jordan Armstrong

TUV party chairman and an ex-serviceman who served with the 1st Battalion the Royal Irish Regiment in Afghanistan. He lives in Co Londonderry with his wife Deborah and four energetic children. Jordan works as a production supervisor in the manufacturing industry and has a first-class honours degree in business. A proud bandsman who parades with Edenmore True Blues and has a real love for the band culture. A principled unionist who seeks to defend the Union, determined to deliver for the PUL community and a strong voice for working families.

Alex Elliott

Alex is a native of Ballinamallard. He and his wife Olive have three grown-up children and three grandchildren. Alex is a graduate of University of Ulster in Business and Management and qualified in Nebosh Risk Management. He spent 32 years of his working life in the UDR and RUC/PSNI. He is presently self-employed in Risk Management as well as Support staff to SWC Colleges within Examination and HR Teams.

A member of TUV since 2010, he believes it to be the ONLY party of truth and honesty that stands firm on ethical, moral and family values.

Elizabeth Neely

I was born in Londonderry in 1967 and moved back to the area in 1986. I have lived in Newbuildings for some 35 years. I have been blessed with six wonderful children and also have three grandchildren.

Passionate about the NHS, I worked in the health service for 14 years. I have pursued education and studied Law at Magee University in Londonderry where I obtained an LLM.

Lorna Smyth

An armed forces veteran, Lorna served her country for 12 years on operations both here in Northern Ireland during Operation Banner and overseas in more recent conflicts with the RAF. After leaving the services, Lorna worked in the aviation sector of the oil and gas industry as a Safety and Compliance manager in Scotland.

A single mother of a young daughter, Lorna is currently studying for an undergraduate degree at University of Ulster. She enjoys writing and commenting on political affairs and her blogs on Facebook have a widespread following.

Glen Moore

Glenn Moore was born and bred in Mid Ulster and lives in Tobermore where he works in the concrete manufacturing sector. Mr Moore is active in Tobermore community projects and a member of Dunamoney Flute Band and LOL 684.

Keith Ratcliffe

Keith lives near Clare. He and his wife, Claire, have three children. Keith has spent over 20 years building up a number of successful businesses, which helped forge strong and enduring relationships with customers. Keith is a member of Clare Presbyterian Church and serves on the Congregational Committee. Keith is Deputy Master of Kilcluney Temperance Volunteers LOL 132 and Worshipful Master of Erin’s First Royal Blues RBP 1. Previously a member of the DUP, Keith believes that only the strong and positive message of TUV can deliver for Unionism in Newry and Armagh.

Jim Allister

A man of principle, integrity and ability. Serving North Antrim in the Assembly since 2011. The scourge of Stormont squander and failure. He has led the way in challenging the Union-dismantling Protocol. A QC he knows how to fight for you. Lives with wife Ruth near Kells.

Matthew Armstrong

Ballymena councillor and Deputy Mayor of Mid & East Antrim. Brings youth and experience to politics. Active in Loyal Orders and in football fraternity. Married to Nicola with 3 children. Passionate about Special Educational Needs provision and issues. Determined to give all North Antrim effective representation.

Ron McDowell

Married to Cathy and father to Catherine, Ron is North Belfast born and bred.

Ron is active in the Orange Order and has been dealing with parading issues in North Belfast. With his father he built up and promotes the heritage centre within Belfast Orange Hall. He has sought to improve relationships in the area in an outreach programme which would help communities in their search for mutual respect.

A Christian, Ron is actively involved in his church as an officeholder as well as in the children’s work.

John Gordon

John and his wife have two grown up sons and a grandson. A Bangor resident, John has lived in North Down for the past 40 years. Proud of his cultural heritage, John is an active member of the Loyal Orders, serving as secretary of his Orange Lodge and Royal Black Preceptory. John has been working in security for twelve years, having previously worked in the building industry. This background gives him valuable insights into the problems of the local community.

Mel Lucas

Mel served as a councillor in Antrim from 2005 to 2011 and has been a resident of South Antrim his entire adult life. He has a strong background in agriculture as a breeder of prize bulls as well as being involved in the building industry. He understands the challenges faced by small businesses.

Married to Diane, Mel has four adult children. He is active in his local Orange Lodge, Ballyrobert 389, and is Chairman of the Board of Governors of Loanends Primary School.

Andrew Girvin

Andrew and his wife Nicola have four children. The family were registered foster carers and hope to return to that soon. His faith is important to him and Andrew was formerly a cross community youth worker with YMCA and churches within South Belfast. He has been self employed for many years and has a background in business development across South and East Belfast. Andrew hopes to bring that real life experience to Stormont and fight for a better deal for those seeking to do their best for the local economy and their families.

Harold McKee

Married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren, I am a Mourne man ‘born and bred’ living in Kilkeel. I am a member of Mourne Presbyterian Church and, proud of my cultural heritage, I am active in Kilkeel True Blue’s LOL 1034 and RBP 208. As a former secretary of the NI Blue Cattle Club and a previous N. Ireland representative of the British Blue Cattle Society UK, I have extensive knowledge of the farming community. I am employed as a quarry manager in sand and gravel excavations. As a serving councillor, I am involved daily with local issues.

Stephen Cooper

Based in Comber, Stephen’s experience as a councillor for the past 8 years has given him valuable insights into the challenges faced by many in the constituency. A former UDR Soldier and consistent opponent of the appeasement of terrorism, he has steadfastly opposed the N.I. Protocol and campaigned for terrorist victims and veterans to receive adequate help and support. He will seek to bring about change to the system of government to provide a workable alternative and restore democracy to this part of the United Kingdom.

As an animal lover, Stephen is passionate about ending animal cruelty, including the practice of halal slaughter and chemical testing.

Darrin Foster

A native of Derrylee, Darrin attended Killicomaine Junior High and Craigavon Senior High. He lives just outside Portadown, with his wife, Lisa; owns a fast food business in the town. A working-class Loyalist Darrin is passionate about defending our place in the Union and celebrating our proud culture. He got involved with the TUV because he believes that Northern Ireland deserves better, determined Unionist representation which can deliver for ordinary people.

Jordan Doran

Jordan grew up in the Ballysillan area of North Belfast. He was educated at Belfast Boys’ Model School and Northumbria University, where he was elected Chair of the Students’ Union. Proud of his cultural heritage, he is an active member of Cavehill L.O.L 1956. Jordan is determined to get young people involved in their community and is a leader with the 92nd Boys’ Brigade at Eglinton Presbyterian Church. He also volunteers in various community projects in Westlands. Jordan is keen to prove that with his valuable experience, young people can have a voice at Stormont.

Trevor Clarke

Trevor was born and brought up in Castlederg, educated at Edwards Primary and Strabane Grammar School. He then took a degree in Hospitality Management at the University of Ulster. Trevor is involved in the Loyal Orders in West Tyrone and is a supporter of the band community. He campaigns for justice for victims of republican terrorism and believes legacy arrangements must provide victims with access to full and undiluted justice. Trevor joined the TUV as he believes the party best represents the views of ordinary unionists in West Tyrone.
