Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:-
“I welcome the fact that this evening I have been assured by the Health Minister that the young woman, whose case I referred to in the Assembly on Monday, will receive chemotherapy treatment next Monday.
“While I remain concerned that future treatment is subject to “uncertainty regarding resources to deal with high risk patients”, it is important that hope is not removed from such patients.
“I thank the minister for enquiring about this case.”
