Jim Allister has expressed disappointment that he was the only unionist MP to turn up to oppose the introduction, at the EU’s behest, of Pet Passports when the Regulation was debated today by the Delegated Legislation Committee in the House of Commons.
In his contribution the TUV Leader clearly spelt out the case against this intolerable EU imposition, but with no other unionist opposition the regulation went through on the nod.
Mr Allister has pledged that when it comes before the Commons he will force a vote and look for support from all who reject our subjection to intrusive EU law.
