“I greatly welcome today’s news that Wrightbus is creating 130 jobs in Antrim.
“This is a much needed boost to local employment. Quality jobs in a company with a clear commitment to Northern Ireland is just what Antrim needs.
“The global success enjoyed by Wrightbus is not by accident, rather it can be attributed to the forward-looking management and staff who have given their all to the company.”
North Antrim MLA and Euro election candidate Jim Allister added:
“Wrightbus has been a bright light in the prevailing economic gloom. These manufacturing jobs are particularly welcome given that section of the economy in Northern Ireland has been particularly badly hit by the downturn.”
