TUV Table Urgent Question on Tricolour Incident

Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:

“I am seeking to secure discussion on the flying of a tricolour from Stormont when the Assembly next meets (Monday) by way of an urgent oral question to the Assembly Commission.

“I have asked the Assembly Commission how a foreign flag came to be flown from Parliament Buildings on 3rd June 2015 and what investigations have been conducted.

“Additionally, I understand that one of the Union Flags which were flying on Tuesday 2nd June to mark Coronation Day was interfered with. I have therefore tabled a number of number of written questions to the Commission today on the issue.”
