Statement by TUV Deputy Mayor, Cllr Timothy Gaston:
“I welcome and wholeheartedly congratulate the Orange Order for their request to host this year’s Ballymena’s Twelfth Field in the People’s Park.
“This move would greatly benefit Ballymena as a whole – it would bring the main field closer to the town centre which would increase footfall within the town and increase the opportunity for local businesses to have a surge in sales. It also makes the field more accessible and family friendly to encourage families to come out and enjoy the cultural celebrations.
“TUV are pleased to support this request and thank the Orange Order for their pro-active approach.”
