“The hard work has most certainly paid off for the Ahoghill and Cullybackey communities in the Ulster In Bloom awards – Ahoghill came out as the overall winner in the small town category, while Cullybackey placed runner up in the community rail halt category.
“First and foremost those who worked so hard to prepare Ahoghill and Cullybackey for the competition deserve recognition for all the hours that they put in. You have put our villages on the map and you can be proud.
“We are both immensely proud of Ahoghill and Cullybackey, and the team spirit that they showed at every step of the way.
