Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister:-
“The welcome charging of Ivor Bell, on the basis of evidence obtained from ‘the Boston tapes’, raises the obvious question of when others likewise named will be arrested and charged on the same basis?
“It is imperative that the perception that some terror politicos are a ‘protected species’, is dispelled. Failure to act with equal effect against them would confirm that the perception is in fact reality.
“In the aftermath of the OTR scandal and its special status for Provos, it is critical to any restoration of public confidence that others equally connected to the McConville murder are pursued with vigour.”
