Statement by Jim Allister:
“I am disappointed but not surprised that Assembly Speaker William Hay has refused to accept both a matter of the day and an urgent oral question to the Justice Minister on Sinn Fein’s interference in policing in recent days.
“The fact that these matters couldn’t even be raised in the chamber illustrates how seriously we should take co-First Minister Robinson’s claims that he was prepareing to exclude Sinn Fein from government.”
