Statement by Cllr Timothy Gaston, TUV Bannside:
“Road safety is of paramount importance – I want to see families together over the holidays and not torn apart by needless deaths on our roads.
“As driving conditions deteriorate with the winter weather, it is important that everyone takes due care on the road. It is also vitally important that the PSNI have a visible presence on our roads in an effort to tackle reckless driving.
“We all know that the holiday period is filled with travelling to and from family, friends and work events – we all need to work together to put safety first.”
