Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:-
“Self confessed IRA “volunteer”, Hayes, who boasted on BBC of his knowledge of and involvement in the Birmingham bombings should be extradited to face charges of conspiracy to cause explosions. His admissions to Kevin Magee are sufficient to warrant such action and it would be beholden on the BBC to cooperate with such an investigation.
“A European Arrest Warrant should be issued for his arrest and since over recent weeks we’ve seen the Republic of Ireland’s Foreign minister interloping in the Stormont talks, I trust on this justice issue they would be as keen to cooperate.”
