Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:
“I welcome the fact that most charges against William Frazer were dropped today. However, this whole affair raises serious questions. If there is now insufficient evidence to processed then same situation existed a year ago when the charges were levelled. This has all the appearance of an abuse of the system to remand him in custody and subject him top punitive bail terms.
“This has brought the law and the authorities into disrepute and Mr Frazer is right to demand a fulsome explication.”
