Statement by TUV leader and Euro election candidate Jim Allister:
“The fact that 96 of those who received OTR letters were linked to 200 murders reveals yet another shocking part of the callous betrayal of victims which this scheme involved.
“The full details of this scheme should be revelled immediately. Victims deserve the truth. That is why I supported Peter Robinson when he demanded that all the letters be called in and the names of those who received them and the details of the crimes they were suspected of committing released into the public domain.
“We have had none of that and yet Mr Robinson remains in government with the party which demanded the OTR letters for IRA terrorists.
“As more details of this scheme emerge the anger is growing within the wider community. The best way that people can express their frustration with the seemingly endless stream of concessions to Republicans is by voting TUV. That will send a clear message that we will tolerate no more and that the days of rollover Unionism are over!”
